The difference between industrial salt and table salt

From a chemist's point of view, any acid from which hydrogen is removed and a metal of similar valency is added to it is called a salt. For example, sulfuric acid with the chemical formula H2SO4 which has two hydrogen atoms, it is enough to add one calcium atom (bivalent) or two sodium atoms (monovalent) to react with calcium containing compounds. In the salt industry, we call the NACL compound that is extracted from the mine, industrial salt, and if the same salt is refined, it is called edible salt. However, both industrial salt and table salt are considered table salt by having NACL composition.
